Peter Carr (born 1968) is a British author, big game hunter, columnist/editor, former gamekeeper and sporting agent turned journalist specializing in hunting, conservation, and military history/conflict. After a short gamekeeping career in the employ of Sir Lawrence Barratt (Lawrie Barratt) and the Earl of Airlie, Carr operated as an International hunting outfitter before turning to freelance journalism. He has been published in hunting, fishing, firearm and military magazines. Carr has been the subject of much controversy for his forthright views and overt support of legally sanctioned big game hunting and sustainable use of endangered species.
